The election is over, and Wall Street's GREEN WAVE is just getting started.
While everyone is talking about the political results, investors are making a much more important move: rotating billions of dollars away from the crowded AI trade and into sectors positioned to outperform through the end of 2026.
In this special market breakdown, Monument Traders Alliance Senior Analyst Chris Johnson reveals why this rotation started BEFORE Election Day, what's driving it now, and four stocks that could lead the next leg of the rally.
Inside this video:
π Why post-election certainty could fuel a year-end rally
π The massive rotation away from AI and Big Tech with the Democrats' win.
π What improving market breadth reveals about the rally
π Why falling Treasury yields matter for consumer stocks, financials, and homebuilders
β οΈ The critical VIX level that could confirm the Green Wave
π― Four stocks to watch: Darden Restaurants (DRI), Lennar (LEN), Best Buy (BBY), and Home Depot (HD)
π° The key takeaway: Money isn't necessarily leaving the stock market. It's finding new opportunities.
β
And the technical indicators are beginning to confirm the shift.
What actually happened this week, in 4 posts:
1/ Asia cracked first. Nikkei and KOSPI each β6% Thursday. Overnight NQ futures clawed back +1.5%. The handoff is live β bounce or noise is still the open question.
4/ On $QQQ, the 3-month tape tells the week: grind into early October, then β15.2% from the high. Thursday alone was about β6.5%. Last β6% day before that was April 4, 2025 β six months later it was ~+44% from that close.
A bad week rewrites risk. Not automatically the thesis.
What's your time horizon from here?
Name one stock you'd happily own for the next 10 years, no matter what this week looks like π
Drop the ticker in the replies.
While the indexes melted, one name answered with a statement report.
$NET (Cloudflare) Q3, from the company release:
Revenue $782.5M, +39% YoY
Non-GAAP EPS $0.38
Q4 revenue guide $845Mβ$846M
Thursday's regular session: β8.3% to $244.51.
After hours: about +20%, last near $294.
Same tape. Different outcome.
Earnings still move stocks β even on crash days.

How can politicians regulate AI when so many of them donβt even understand the technology?
The U.S. is in a global AI race against China and other adversaries. Putting excessive guardrails on innovation could risk handing them the advantage.
We need to understand the technology before deciding how to regulate it.
Over 100 years ago, Thomas Edison recognized the importance of a resource that could become one of America's biggest strategic priorities.
Today, AI, national security, and a global race for critical minerals are creating a massive new investment trend.

Please ignore the "bubble" talk.
The P/E ratio on the S&P 500 is down to 17.8 - below the 5-year and 10-year average.
Bubbles rarely, if ever, appear with this valuation.
Texas just put the AI buildout on notice.
Governor-elect Gina Hinojosa on CNN Thursday:
"We need to stop what we are doing with data centers until we have those protections."
She's not saying never. She's saying not like this β communities get a seat at the table first.
That quote hit while $NVDA was already β9% and $SOXX was β12%.
Policy risk is no longer a footnote for the AI trade.
Does this change your map of where the next data centers get built?
This week wasn't a blip on $QQQ.
Three months of grind higher into early October β then the air came out. From the recent high: β15.2%. Thursday alone was about β6.5%.
Perspective, not comfort: the last time $QQQ printed a β6% day before Thursday was April 4, 2025. Six months later it was up about 44% from that close.
A bad week rewrites risk. It doesn't automatically rewrite the thesis.
What's your time horizon from here?
Asia took the handoff. Futures are trying to bounce.
Japan's Nikkei β6.0% Thursday, now 21% off its high β official bear-market territory.
South Korea's KOSPI β6.0% into the U.S. close.
Overnight: Nasdaq 100 futures +1.5%. S&P futures +0.3%.
One green overnight session doesn't erase a β6.5% day in $QQQ.
Are you treating this as a bounce⦠or noise?
It's not just tech.
Small caps $IWM -4.4%
Consumer discretionary $XLY -4.1%
Industrials $XLI -3.9%
Materials $XLB -3.4%
Financials $XLF -2.7%
Tech $XLK leads the way down at -7.3%.
Even the "defensives" are red: staples $XLP -0.6%, communication $XLC -0.7%, utilities $XLU -1.0%, energy $XLE -1.6%.
Where are you hiding?
The post-election rally lasted one day.
Wednesday: S&P 500 +1.6%
Thursday: S&P 500 -4.0%
The index is back below Monday's close, at its lowest level since late July.
The Nasdaq is down 5.1%, its worst day since April 2025.
One day of hope. One day to erase it.
What's next?
Red across the board.
Nasdaq -5.1%
S&P 500 -4.0%
Russell 2000 -4.1%
Dow -3.2%
The $VIX fear gauge is up 48% to 24.7.
The S&P 500 is on pace for its worst day since April 2025.
Are you buying this or stepping aside?
From post-election rally to correction in a day.
Nasdaq -5.1% Β· S&P 500 -4.0% Β· Dow -3.2% Β· Russell 2000 -4.1%
The Nasdaq is now almost 12% off its high. That's official correction territory.
Add in worries that a Democratic midterm sweep brings tougher scrutiny of data centers in Texas, Ohio, Michigan and Georgia.
How are you playing it?
