The real theft here is the one bought 16 RAM sticks for $1950
Two men have been arrested in China after stealing RAM from gaming PCs at several esports hotels.
According to police, the suspects checked into different hotels, opened the gaming PCs in their rooms, and removed a total of 16 RAM sticks.
They later sold the stolen memory for about $1,950 (13,200 yuan).
The thefts were discovered after hotel staff found several PCs that wouldn’t boot during routine maintenance.

Former Valve writer Chet Faliszek says there’s no conspiracy behind PlayStation’s move away from physical games.
In his view, the industry is simply following what most players have already chosen: buying games digitally.
Faliszek argued that consumers ultimately decide how companies operate.
“You, the consumer, have made your choice, and the choice is for digital.”
He also pointed out that while many people online are upset about Sony ending physical, sales data has shown for years that digital purchases have massively overtaken physical copies.
