Inuit hunters can rewarm their hands from near freezing to fifty degrees in minutes. In the cold, blood vessels clamp down to protect the core. In cold-acclimated people, they reopen 5 to 10 minutes in and send blood back to the fingers. It kept hunters' hands working in winter. Comfort didn't build it. Cold did.

In our 3rd week of cold plunging in our @MorozkoForge . Interesting difference developing between my wife and me. I’ve stopped shivering with the temp at 40F. She is still shivering in about 30 seconds at 45F. Curious difference.

An ice bath can quiet a racing mind in 4 steps. 1. Plunge the whole body. 2. Make it cold enough to trigger the gasp. 3. Breathe. After 15 to 30 seconds the dive reflex slows the heart. 4. Stay 2 to 4 minutes and shiver. It releases fight-or-flight energy. Shiver on purpose.

American men lost a third of their testosterone in 12 years. CDC data from 1999 to 2011 show it in every age group, even after accounting for smoking, obesity, age, exercise and alcohol. Plastics and screens get the blame. The real culprit sits inside every cell.

WebMD's cold plunge guide was medically reviewed by a dermatologist whose only evidence of cold expertise is reviewing an article about freezing warts off skin. Her ignorance shows. Here's what WebMD gets wrong about ice baths:
Why would anyone subject themselves to an icy plunge? Research points to quite a few physical and mental health benefits, although we need more and bigger studies to gain a clearer understanding of them. It may help ease muscle soreness, boost your mood, and build stress resilience. But cold plunges also come with risks, and the research is still evolving. Would you try an ice bath for its potential health benefits, or is the icy water a hard no for you? Tell us in the comments! wb.md/3W3y4kv

WebMD says regular cold plunges can help protect you from Type 2 diabetes. They're right. So why would they list diabetes as a reason not to plunge? Because WebMD wants you sick and scrolling. morozkoforge.com/ice-bath-di…

WebMD tells athletes to ice bathe after training. That's backwards. An ice bath right after exercise doesn't make your next session any better. It blunts the adaptation you just trained for. Plunge before you train. Sauna after. morozkoforge.com/why-athlete…

The Morozko Forge ice bath stays at your temperature, with clean, filtered, and grounded mineral water all the time. No bags of ice. No chlorine. No hassle. Cold that's ready when you are. morozkoforge.com

"Goes down to 37°F" is a capability. Not a recommendation. Most cheap cold plunges run on aquarium chillers. They were never meant to run near freezing. Here's what happens at 37°F: 1. The refrigerant in the heat exchanger has to run even colder. Maybe 30°F. 2. The filter gets dirty or the pump fails. Water flow slows. 3. Ice forms on the heat exchanger fins and breaks them open. We know one business owner who replaced his chiller seventeen times. Morozko doesn't use a chiller. Refrigeration and filtration are separate systems. That's why ice can't break a Morozko.

After the Steelers victory in Paris this morning, we calculate that NFL teams with players or coaches using Morozko are 21-9. The Commanders, at 1-4, are pulling down the win percentage. morozkoforge.com/post/why-at…

Insulin is a fat-maxxing hormone. You might think you're eating healthy because someone told you to eat "mostly plants" or that "oatmeal reduces cholesterol" but what you don't realize is that the insulin spikes these high carbohydrate foods create are locking you into a fat-storing metabolism. morozkoforge.com/post/ice-ba…

Seeing the ice floating on the water will activate your sympathetic nervous system before to even touch the water.
Starting my third week of cold plunging. Last night I dropped the temp from 45 to 40 on our @MorozkoForge. This morning there was ice floating on the top. Next level mind games to get in! 🥶
