Today, we heartbreakingly remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, including 64 men and women from our own Morris County.
Twenty-five years later, the pain of that day remains felt by all of us. May God Bless America.

More than 6,600 noncitizens were reportedly registered to vote in New Jersey and over 400 cast ballots.
In a state where local elections can be decided by a single vote, that demands full transparency.
@GovSherrillNJ Release the records!
@SpeakerCoughlin Shame on you!

In 1991, Republican Dick Kamin and Democrat Michael LaRose ran against each other for the New Jersey State Assembly in the 24th District. Despite their political differences, they and their families became close friends.
Today, Dick joined me in honoring Michael for his many years of service to our community.
As Mayor of Sparta Township, Michael was a driving force behind the creation of Station Park. As a Sussex County Freeholder, he helped establish the Sussex County Office of Emergency Management.
It was especially fun to be back at Station Park today. In 1991, while Dick and Michael were campaigning for the Assembly, I was playing baseball there in Sparta Little League.
Congratulations, Michael, and thank you for your dedicated service. – at Sparta, NJ
