Jim Hiller…
I’ve been supportive of you.
But 8 games in you decide to bench the future of our franchise for absolutely no reason.
In a single evening, you have alienated the entire fanbase against you for an incredibly stupid decision
I legit think we’ll have new coach next y
Even though they’ve improved from last year, Leafs biggest issue remains that they are just too damn slow…
Especially in their own end
Its unbelievable how people will literally watch that entire game and be like:
“Goddamnittt Rielly sucks”
Like, yes, but thats not why we lost the game…
I cannot believe how many times the Leafs allowed the Sens to get clean look after look in the high slot…
Like what are we doing?…
Just shouldn’t have lost that game
Its plays like that that make people knock Nylander.
Just completely outworked and lost Stolie a shutout.
Love Nylander but plays like that are not fun
Marchenko / Knies trade is a light version of the Demar for Kawhi deal
Tough deal, had to be done.
Result will be a huge success for the Leafs
Its amazing how many idiots think that Toronto loses this Marchenko trade…
Huge upgrade for Toronto.
Marchenko will be a point per game player this year easily

Marchenko is a better player than Knies pretty much in all facets.
He will cost more money. You gotta pay to play. Very simply, the Leafs net out huge winners here.
