I’ve uploaded five pieces to my website, andrew-mosley.co.uk. Three are connected by a common thread, while the other two reflect ongoing, and perhaps somewhat futile, internal battles. Those three linked pieces echo the story of my novel's central character and maybe my own.

It took a little longer than expected, but we have created a website for people to view the footage collected from Gaza in one place. You no longer have to download the entire archives to see them. It includes: 64,537 videos 17,905 photos Ability to download individual videos Searchable index Exhaustive sources list (300+ journalists) Geolocation data Livemap with minute to minute updates Victim list It can be accessed here: ArchiveGenocide.com Please share & quote tweet to help this post break out of the twitter algorithm prison. We will keep adding the rest of the archives to the site, be patient- it is difficult work. Continue to seed the torrents provided, as that is the best way to ensure the footage remains stored in decentalized way. God bless all those who sacrificed their lives to get this footage out, and everyone invovled in collecting/archiving it. 🚨 Senegal captain Kalidou Koulibaly speaking facts: "Africans can’t have their people" at the World Cup because of US travel bans. Every other team gets their fans. But Global South teams like Senegal get blocked while the West lectures everyone about "inclusion" and "human rights". This is the same empire that bombs, exploits, and restricts — then cries when others resist. Football should unite people, not separate them with racist visa policies and double standards. Stand with Koulibaly. Stand with the fans. Stand with the Global South. No bows. Just raw truth. 💪🏿🇸🇳

What’s wrong with the local comprehensive? If state schools are good enough for everyone else, why not the future king? Meanwhile, we’re expected to keep footing the bill. One rule for them. Another for us. Abolish the monarchy.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The claim that taxpayers foot the bill for Prince George's Eton fees is incorrect; they are paid from the private income of the Duchy of Cornwall, not the Sovereign Grant. royal.uk/royal-finances gov.uk/government/pub…

Sadio Mane : "When I left Bambali, my hometown, I promised three things. Not to disappoint my parents, become a professional football player and return to my village to build a school." So far, he has: - Built a $693,000 hospital, - Built a $350,000 school, - Gives each family €70 monthly, - Provides 4G internet, - Gives laptops to students. The world needs more people like Sadio Mane!

🚨🗣️New: Luis Suárez reacts to Uruguay’s arrival in the United States for the World Cup, where the squad faced sniffer dogs and rigorous security checks: “I’ve been in football a long time, and I’ve seen tournaments all over the world. But what we’re witnessing here with the USA hosting this World Cup is deeply concerning. Take the Uruguay team arriving — world-class players like Manuel Ugarte, standing there with arms folded, looking utterly bewildered as sniffer dogs go through their bags like they’re common criminals. That image says it all. These are ambassadors of the game, not suspects at the border. This isn’t hospitality; it’s humiliation dressed up as security. You’ve got a Somali referee, one of Africa’s best, denied entry despite a valid visa — a man who dreamed of officiating at the pinnacle of his career, turned away at the airport. African and South American delegations facing extra screenings, visa chaos for fans and officials from qualified nations. This is the ‘land of the free’ rolling out the red carpet? It feels more like a fortress with razor wire. The beautiful game deserves better than being turned into a political football or a paranoid checkpoint. FIFA chased the dollars — and there are billions to be made, no doubt — but they’ve sold the soul of the tournament to a host that treats global football stars and supporters like potential threats. Meanwhile, American taxpayers and host cities are left holding a bill running into hundreds of millions for security and logistics that FIFA largely pockets. Football has always been about unity, passion, and bringing people together across borders. Right now, under this hosting, it’s being strangled by suspicion and overreach. The world is watching these scenes and cringing. If this continues, it risks leaving a bitter taste that lingers far longer than any on-pitch glory. We needed a celebration of the game — not a showcase of division. Something has to change.”

🚨 Jürgen Klopp has launched a scathing attack on the cooling breaks being used during this World Cup. 👊 "Football is being held hostage by executives sitting in air-conditioned offices. These breaks are being presented as a shield for player welfare, a noble weapon against the heat. In reality, they are nothing more than a golden cage built for sponsors. When I saw players standing around during cooling breaks while television timeouts dictated the rhythm of the match, I couldn't help but ask myself: who is the World Cup really serving? The supporters? The players? Or the advertisers? A World Cup match should flow like a river. Instead, we are building dams in the middle of it so commercials can be shown. It's dangerous for the spirit of the game. Football used to be the main event, but it now risks becoming background music for an advertising show." He didn't hold back. 👏👏

Not a single ball has been kicked yet, and this is already the picture of the 2026 World Cup: • The Senegal and Uzbekistan delegations were reportedly subjected to invasive searches upon arrival. • One of Africa’s top referees was reportedly sent back despite travelling on a diplomatic passport. • Iraq’s team photographer was denied entry despite holding a valid visa. • Around 90% of Moroccan supporters who had already purchased tickets reportedly had their visa applications rejected. • Multiple members of Iran’s support staff were refused visas. • Switzerland travelled without their star striker, Breel Embolo, after entry issues delayed his arrival. His visa was only granted following significant backlash. • Iran’s team, despite playing all of its matches in the United States, has reportedly been required to base itself in Mexico and fly in and out for games. What's the point of hosting a World Cup if so many of the people who make it a WORLD Cup are struggling to take part?

Ian Wright is an absolute hero for saying how we all feel about this World Cup… “I've just read that the Somalian referee has been denied entry. Every few hours it's another story, another story about fans denied, players denied, officials denied, journalists denied, now refs," Wright said. "You know something I'm laughing but it's not funny, it's actually not funny and something has to be said. "The expensive tickets, the most expensive tickets ever, expensive accommodation, transport through the roof. It has to be said. "Is this how the hosts behave really for the greatest game, the greatest tournament in the world, is this how the hosts behave? "Are we not hearing more? Are we seeing how Qatar got dragged, are we not hearing more? Is this the spirit of football, really? "You know who I feel for? I feel for the American fans who are desperate for this, American soccer fans who are desperate for this, how embarrassed they must be. How embarrassing for them this must be. "This is the World Cup, this is a World Cup of chaos. Whoever wins this World Cup is going to have to go through some serious chaos to get this done. "I hope we can do it, but something has to be said now. This is the World Cup."

Eric Cantona: “Modern football means nothing to me. What bothers me is this: from past to present, football was played by the working class, by the poorest sections of the working class. And those people can no longer afford to buy a ticket. Football is learned by watching it in the stadium, not on television.”
