Underwater Caterpillar! This is a Fireworm seen near Bonaire. Those bristles are rigid and contain a stinging venom. No touching!
Just like the name of my X account suggests, I mostly take macro photographs. My camera settings, lights, lens and port are all set up for macro shots. That means that when I try to take a picture of underwater scenery or a large animal, all I get are shades of blue. It is next to impossible to color correct these pics in post. This morning, just out of curiosity, I told @grok "I would like to build an application for Windows 10 that corrects the color of underwater photos." In less than 10 minutes, I was given an AMAZING application that does a damn good job of saving my old photos. That's it! One simple sentence and this app works far better than I could have imagined! It allows me to preview the changes, select from multiple presets for different water conditions and make adjustments using a variety of sliders. I asked for a small change and two minutes later the new and improved version was installed on my machine! I am blown away by how easy it was and by the quality of the result. Many thanks to @elonmusk and all the people that are building Grok! I can't wait to see what comes next!

The colored spots are the body of the animal and the cream colored area is the shell underneath.
