The Movie Magic Show

So, #BlackPanther Oddly enough it reminds me of Eternals. You can see glimpses of a great film trying to burst out from underneath an overly complex narrative. Strong themes and character arcs are there, but none are really given enough room to breathe. Rough end to Phase 4 🫤

Me: can we please stop with the unnecessary transmedia shit? Also me: GEARS MOVIE! LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOO!!!!! 🔥💪🏽 – at Sydney, New South Wales

I've decided to reduce the frequency of @MovieMagicShow to monthly. Love reviewing movies with the boys but weekly film homework has become a chore. Hopefully will result in a higher quality stream each month ☺️ Thanks to @TheXboxcast & @audreylilychar for the raids tonight 🙏

I’m so stoked for anyone who grew up with Top Gun as their favourite movie. To get a sequel in #TopGunMaverick 30+ years on THAT awesome is a triumph. Pure action-drama with heart at its centre. Can’t wait to review it on @MovieMagicShow next week 👏🏽

Great ep of @MovieMagicShow last night reviewing #DoctorStrange with the boys. Thanks @Haruhi_NZ for the raid too 🥰 twitch.tv/videos/1308525484

No @MovieMagicShow show tonight! @QueenMorgie_ & I will be on the @GameOn_Cancer channel playing Dolmen before launch AND we’ll be joined by two devs from Brazil to tell us about the game and giveaway some codes! 🔥😍

The Farewell. Starting Awkwafina. On Netflix. Add it to your list now. Thank me later.

Really enjoyed #TheBATMAN So much concentrated good stuff squeezed into almost 3-hours, which means there’ll be plenty to dissect on @MovieMagicShow on Wednesday 😎

Me waking up each morning since watching #Encanto: [Our review on @MovieMagicShow: youtu.be/]

Just watched #UnchartedMovie I can see why fans like it and I can see why critics don’t. It commits a lot of cinema sins, but that’s to be expected from the genre. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised more often than I was disappointed. Full review on @MovieMagicShow soon 👍🏽

Reviewing Molly's Game on @MovieMagicShow last night has reminded me to make an Appreciation Post for Francince Maisler, the American Goddess of Casting. Which films has she casted? Behold (just a sample of) her Casting Director credits! 🙌💯

The @MovieMagicShow is raising funds for cancer research this December as part of the @GameOn_Cancer #HolidaySpectacular! 🥳 1. Donate $25 or more 2. Pick a movie and we'll review it DONATE 👉tiltify.com/@magiccasts/tmms Let's make this the last generation to die from cancer 💜

Glad I watched #Eternals last night. It isn’t the shit show a lot of folks seem to be making it out to be. Definitely on the weaker side, but you can see glimpses of a great film shine through in places. Review coming on @MovieMagicShow this Wednesday 👍🏽 – at Central Coast, New South Wales

Currently painting the house so no streaming from me till Friday (in time for #TheQuestionBox). If anyone has any recommendations of films to review for The @MovieMagicShow next week, (preferably on a streaming service), let me know!

We all know there’s so much wrong with the #StarWars prequel trilogy, but I think the MOST painful moment in those films is when Palpatine kills two Jedi Masters in the space of 3 SECONDS! What on earth was George Lucas thinking in that moment? 😑 – at Sydney, New South Wales
