Just witnessed history at @EDI_Airport. A lot of people in hi-vis jackets running around, pointing at the windows. Turns out it was the first @emirates landing at EDI! The excitement was almost ridiculous and I saw it land. Transport geeks share one love.

I need to dig more details on this and create my own vision. Would make an interesting part of my PhD as Mars gives a completely blank sheet for ground-up (heh) infrastructure design seeing it as a system-of-systems without existing constraints.
