History repeats when it comes to AI in education. Fawning over "infinitely patient AI tutors" and the the implication AI can replace great teachers all over my timeline... again. None of the new tech demonstrated today changes our thesis at @magicschoolai . Generative AI, whether it be multimodal, voice commanded, a math wiz, human sounding voice - is inspiring technology and unlocks new opportunities in education (we're pumped to use the new tech in our platform) - but it does NOT replace a real, human educator. A real teacher with a relationship with a child inspiring them to learn and reach their full potential, there is magic in that. Now - equip that educator with AI superpowers and we have the potential for something even more special. We're excited to build that future.
