risks to understand:
IP Vault is not a savings/deposit product.Share value can go down and users may receive less than they deposited.
It is also available only to eligible users in supported regions.
For me,this is an interesting step for Tokenized IP and the onchain economy

Last Saturday, we were piecing together what might come next for @soneium . This Saturday, we had a whole new chapter to explore. 💿
Tokenized IP, ipUSD, IP Vault and Sony’s Onchain Entertainment Incubation Program gave us plenty to discuss: what this direction could mean for creators, fans, and communities, what we can explore today and how we can prepare for what comes next.
We also reviewed the broader developments around @StartaleGroup and JPYSC, including the BlackRock–SBI–Startale MOU, SMBC Group’s involvement, and the earlier announcement of SBI and Startale joining Open Standard.
One question ran through our conversation: how can our community contribute as these developments take shape? Through clearer educational content, original creative work and helping others understand the opportunities ahead.

Japan is making a HUGE, coordinated move toward on-chain finance
For years, Japan has been cautious around crypto. But new regulations, major corporate partnerships, stablecoins and Web3 infrastructure are starting to come together into something much bigger
So what happens when tech giants, banks, regulators and Web3 builders all move in the same direction?
You get the early foundations of a new digital financial system
Startale’s $63M funding round, backed by SBI Group and Sony’s Innovation Fund, is one major signal. At the same time, Japan is moving toward a more predictable 20% flat tax framework for spot crypto, potentially making the market more attractive to institutions
Then there’s stablecoins
ethereum:0xe7c3d8c9a439fede00d2600032d5db0be71c3c29 built by SBI and Startale, is designed to bring yen-denominated payments on-chain, with ambitions around enterprise payments and cross-border transfers
But scaling on-chain finance isn’t just about putting assets on a blockchain
