🚨🚨🚨 So I've already had @rodrigotadeusp basically clone my 3DO ODE menu project and claim he "independently" designed his even after he asked for permission to use the interface and I said no.
Not only did they use the menu design (and uglied it), they took everything under the hood that is all original from my menu system: menu interface (including look and feel), colors and sound effects, image caching design, optimized image routine, modal dialog boxes and copied the vast majority of features written specifically for my menu. All of that is my original work and they took it even after being told No. And didn't even have the decency to credit me in the About Box of their menu (though they made a lazy attempt at crediting me for the "idea" in their repo).
Most of his code is byte for byte identical to mine (and I had to decompile his boot.iso to determine that as he doesn't distribute source...imagine that).

In order to jump the shark of the "OMG they ported X to the 3DO" when X clearly could never handle a source port let alone a port that faithfully represents the original title...

Unico is back with more borderline snake oil.
This time with their Traveller 10 inch PVM inspired monitor.
Absolutely nowhere in the Kickstarter (that I can find) do they give ANY details or specs of anything. And literally if you look that Kickstarter listing up and down it states the same handful of things multiple times and has a boatload of images and animated gifs. It's a candy coated hollow shell of information. Zero value. No scaler details, no panel specs...nothing.
Upon first glance you might be tempted to think it uses the 10 inch iPad Retina display like many of the enthusiast 10 inch monitors use. I don't think that's the case as I saw a comment in a YT video absolutely panning the unit stating that Unico said it was 1280x960. And the reviewer was having issues with even that as WIndows wanted to treat it as 1080p 30fps panel - lol.
After my experience with their Phoenix 26 inch monitor: Hard pass. 👎
