1. It has come to my notice that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) obtained a court order on August 5, 2026, freezing the accounts of the Osun State Government.
2. I must state that I feel deeply embarrassed not by the EFCC's exercise of its mandate backed by a court order, but by the timing of the agency's action. This is so because every action taken by an institution of State, especially at the Federal level, is always credited to me, as the President, even when I may not have had any prior knowledge of the action.
3. Since assuming office, I have consistently maintained that anti-corruption and law enforcement agencies must be allowed to discharge their statutory responsibilities independently, professionally, without fear or favour, or political interference. I have therefore deliberately refrained from directing or interfering in the operational activities of the EFCC or any other investigative or prosecutorial agency because I firmly believe that strong democratic institutions, operating within the confines of the law, are indispensable to democratic good governance and the rule of law.

Dear Nigerians, stop allowing the Nigerian Police to invite you from you base unless they kidnap you like they always do and force you inside a flight.
The Police command is in every state and to bring investigation and policing closer to those they claim to investigate cus they actually investigate nothing serious.
Sometime ago, they invited me to Lagos to appear in what they call ‘diplomatic fraud’. That alone got me angry. What is the connection between my highly distinguished name and fraud in same sentence and worse of all adding diplomatic.
Secondly, why not Abuja.
I told the policeman I will not come to Lagos to attend any invitation and if they need me, they should tell FHQ to invite me and I will go. I declined to go on the D-Day and they called and I told them if not my Abuja base, I won’t go.
As seen in the screenshot, he said I disobeyed them and he called me for minutes and I told him on phone I won’t attend any police interview in Lagos if not Abuja.
The police I know inviting me to Lagos were already working for their paymaster who I have obviously approved a report against him or his company for publication and want to take me out of my comfort zone for their mischief. I told him I will call out the police and blacklist them if they keep harassing my line.
If they were honest, why avoid Abuja police commands abi no be same police again? It’s one thing to say I won’t come to your place and another thing to say I won’t come to you place but will go to the command in my base. That is exactly what the boy Very Dark Man did.
Good to know that they finally listened to the voice of reasoning by inviting AIG Moshood Jimoh but why is he appearing before his colleague and not a DIG for the investigation?
