The gradual release of PL is so important! Full on PL may not happen the first day. Ss must become familiar with the new concepts, ways of thinking, and learning behaviors. Roll it out piece by piece #personalizedlearning @EdElements edelements.com/blog/the-firs…

What truly makes our country great is its diversity. I’ve seen that beauty in so many ways over the years. Whether we are born here or seek refuge here, there’s a place for us all. We must remember it’s not my America or your America. It’s our America.

Formative assessment might be the greatest and singular best thing you can do in the classroom.
It’s not done for a grade.
It’s to see how effective your teaching was.
It’s to see where students are at in their learning.
It’s to see where to go next.

Students own their reflection when they see their teacher visibly engage in reflection. @MrsASteger There is so much wisdom and good advice in Episode 3: Reflective Renegades. #RenOnTheRun @NBPTS #NBCTstrong

Schools absolutely should engage in reflective practice together. Our @NBPTS Fellows suggest first getting your teachers on-board to make lasting change. This requires strong teacher leaders. 💪 #NBCTStrong #RenOnTheRun @mchandlerNBCT @MrsASteger @jaimefesta @mchandlerNBCT

Fair means everyone gets what they need. Equal means everyone gets the same. Consistency means I do the same every time. Consistently be fair. Consistently stop worrying about treating everyone the same. #edchat #thatonekid #tlap #kidsdeserveit

On International Women’s Day, I’m reflecting on the future we all want for our daughters: one where they can live out their aspirations without limits. And I’m celebrating some of the women who are building that future for all of us today.

#InternationalWomensDay is more than a celebration—it's also a call to action. As far as we've come, we still have barriers to tear down so we can all have equal opportunity and respect. Let's keep marching, and with every step, let's reach back and pull others up with us.
