The federal government collected $5.4 trillion. More than last year. More than ever.
So where did it come from?
You.
Individual income taxes jumped $188 billion. Up 7%.
Income and payroll taxes combined brought in $4.66 trillion.
That's about 86% of everything the government collected.
Coming straight out of your paycheck.
Now the corporations.
Corporate income taxes dropped $70 billion. Down 16%.
Thanks to new deductions Congress handed them in the 2025 reconciliation bill.
You paid more. They paid less.
And the tariffs? The ones that were supposed to make foreign countries pay?
Customs duties fell 11%.
The Supreme Court ruled a chunk of them illegal and the government refunded about $130 billion back to businesses.
So after squeezing a record amount out of working Americans...
They still spent $7.4 trillion.
$2 trillion more than they took in.
Here's a fun fact straight from the Treasury's own website.
From 1868 until 1913, 90% of federal revenue came from taxes on liquor, beer, wine, and tobacco.
No income tax.
The country functioned.
Then 1913 happened. And now they take more from you every single year and still can't pay the bills.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I've identified an AI-generated bot account that is used specifically for the purpose of pushing Dan's content and the other hosts on his media network.
They are reposting this account regularly, using it to push out clips and commentary and engaging with it pretty much every day.
Yet this account, a self-proclaimed member of the "Bongino Army," seems to be a fictional person.
Wouldn't that be funny if they were interacting, reposting and engaging with a fictional character they created to boost their content? All while accusing everyone else of being a bot or using bots.

I can not believe this is where I am with the only “famous” person I have EVER tracked down after seeing in the wild and asked for a pic.
I went to Busch Gardens with my family and saw him in an enclosed tortoise exhibit having a private tour with his family. I literally ran to him and hollered to please take a picture with me.
I was most excited for him with this new administration. I thought he would make a difference. I waited on pins and needles in the beginning waiting to see which job he would be assigned. I celebrated that he was the Deputy Director for the FBI. And I can’t believe the only thing he accomplished was lying about Epstein and putting an autistic patsy in place for the pipe b0mb.

Looks like word of the block party made it's way to Dan in 2 calendar days and well, that's pretty funny.
Of course, this is just a struggle session between 5 to 10 guys because we are all losers and Dan lives rent free in our head because we are jealous of his success.
