I may the dirtiest desk on SLT, but I also got to work to receive chocolate on the last day of half term…so I am taking that as a win! I just will make sure they don’t touch the desk before I eat them! Thanks @David_gilbert88 and team science!
Working closely with our specialist teachers from the local authority is key to building a team around our scholars. Today, our Hearing Impairment link was in training all staff to support our profoundly deaf scholars to continue to thrive.
Proud to work with #teamCMA where every member of staff takes ownership and responsibility for any scholar in their room to ensure their individual needs are met. Working with @chloeaefrench means such a joined up cohesion of thinking for the school

Honoured and proud every day to be a part of this team and #teamCMA
Over five years graft, and counting. Recognition for the ambition of the whole team @CastleMeadAcad
It’s not necessarily what you achieve in life that counts, but who you do it with.
This one is for all of the families and colleagues who believed in us.

It is with immense pride we officially announce that we have received an ‘Outstanding’ rating in our first ever Ofsted inspection.
We could not have achieved this without the support of scholars, families, staff and the @TMETrust

Thank you so much to @saramca and @Mead_Institute for an invigorating day of whole trust PL. Fantastic to see so many familiar faces from our other schools and incredible messages delivered by guests. So many takeaways. A fabulous way to end the first week back.
A child gave me this; a hand crocheted frog. I am petrified of frogs & she knows. It is glow in the dark wool to “haunt my nightmares” - her words. The best bit: this was done with the proudest smile on her face and it is my favourite present from the last 18 years of teaching 💚
Bon voyage @CastleMeadAcad! hoping all scholars and staff have an amazing trip to Paris….and that the 4:30am start isn’t too painful (for them or me!) by the end of the day!
Over the past three weeks of exams, team Inclusion have either invigilated, read or scribed every single one, whilst ensuring their care and support of all scholars not doing exams isn’t compromised. Another incredible job from an incredible team; I am so grateful to them.
When your daughter meets @leicesterliz an is blown away that MPs work at THE ACTUAL Houses of Parliament! She is now considering being an MP when she is older so she can too, or a pet rescuer, she is undecided. Thanks @DovelandsLeic for another great opportunity for our children

I had the privilege to accompany 20 scholars around Leicester on this trip and was so impressed with the scholars, but also the way WW1 was brought to life for them. Drill in town square was a particular highlight! Thank you team History for having me!
Despite the wind and rain @CastleMeadAcad scholars in Yr9 made it to five #Leicester sites connected to #WorldWarI in support of their studies. Big thanks to @ismail_dale for organising.
Great session from our local authority Educational Psychologists on Emotional Coaching today; really looking forward to session 2 next week. This, combined with professional learning about routines and mindfulness strategies SEMH team will strengthen our offer as a team
Team Inclusion celebrating World Book Day @CastleMeadAcad was everyone had great fun dressing up and the scholars loved the outfits in The Keep and across the school!
