Congratulations to Mrs. Jennifer Edelblute-Caggia — affectionately known as Mrs. E — on being named the new principal of Jackson Elementary!
Mrs. E began her career with HCPS in 2000 at @GatorsRes and has since brought her passion for education to @HCPSCorkES, @HCPSCollinsElem, and Roland Park K-8 as a dedicated music teacher.
Over the years, she has worn many hats, serving as an instructional mentor, teacher leader, site-based math coach, and district resource teacher.
In 2022, she transitioned to the role of AP at Jackson Elementary and is excited to step into the role of principal.

After consulting with public health partners at Fl Dept of Health-Hillsborough, TGH, & USF Health, & after thoughtful discussion, the school board voted to make masks mandatory for all students & staff w/ a medical exception opt out, effective 30 days beginning tomorrow, Aug 19

It's nearly impossible to raise standards, expectations, or achievement w/o first raising morale. Morale has to be the priority. It drives success by increasing productivity, engagement, attention to detail, commitment and it helps reduce disengagement and turnover.
