Hey math friends! On the stone road, I traveled 1/4 mile in 4 minutes, 30 seconds. What was the difference in time when I walked the same distance on the track? What is the unit rate of my dirt road travels versus my track travels in miles per hour? @_VikingNation_ @MissEveritt

Thank you to the many parents who joined kiddos for @MissEveritt’s 5th grade math classes, today. The parents spent time immersed in the Math Practices during several rounds of The Product Game. We can’t wait for them to return for more! @_VikingNation_ @tpspatty @romules_

Parents engaged in several Standards for Mathematical Practice with @MissEveritt’s 5th grade students, today. The best? Parents prevailed over the kiddos in a neck-and-neck round of The Product Game. 🙌🏻 @_VikingNation_ @tpspatty @romules_

As the day progressed, @MissEveritt and I became better facilitators of tetrahedral kite construction. The students productively worked through their frustrations, too! 🙌🏻 @_VikingNation_ @romules_
