I love my wife.
I love my kids.
I love my community.
I love serving teachers.
I love advocating for kids.
I hope that’s what you see when you see me - LOVE. It’s who I am, not what you’ve been led to believe. I’m no threat. I’ll stand up for you. Will you stand up for me?
Two of my students wanted to give me a teacher appreciation gift yesterday, my heart is so full! They got me a little hedgehog necklace and I surprised them with some homemade face masks😊 Thank you so much Beck family! It was great to see y’all! 🥰
Thought I’d try my hand at the latest tik tok challenge...in HMS gear of course 😎 #Broncosbreathe #Proudtobeabronco #teachersoftiktok #AVID #Wearehms
For this week’s check in, I asked my students to add a meme to a class google slides😂 Here are some submissions
I’m #Proudtobeabronco ...sitting on the roof of my car! THANK YOU to everyone who put this together! 💙💛
With everything going on, my mom decided she wanted to be more self-sufficient...so she bought 4 chickens and 2 ducks😂 Guess who their babysitter is? 🙋♀️
A new goal of mine during quarantine is to learn to make macarons without cracks or spaces in them! These cookies are so finicky and hard to make, but they’re a good metaphor for life: sometimes you have to fail a few times before you get it right. At least they tasted great!😁😋
My heart 😭 Even during these crazy times, my students continue to amaze me. One of my students just sent me this digital scrapbook collage she made!😭 Stupid virus, I want to see my students again!!
Reading is a great way to keep some normalcy in these challenging times. Be sure to use Overdrive- I know I’ve checked out a few audiobooks! Even Chunk is excited to read! (Though he’s more interested in American Girl cook books) 😊🦔 #GCISDreads
