Such an exciting mail day! Congrats @EmilyMorganNTYS! Can’t wait to dig into this. 💚
After announcing who the new Star Student was, they all started screaming with joy and surrounded the Star with a group hug! The fact that they chose to celebrate their friend and not sit in disappointment that it wasn’t them… My heart exploded. 🥹💛 I learn so much from them.
We are SO grateful to @AudubonMV for gifting us three leopold benches, bird feeders, hooks, seed, and pawpaw tree saplings! These gifts are an investment in Bogan’s natural areas AND our students’ learning experience! 🌿
We love the whiteboard in the bird blind— a space where classes can record what they hear and see while out in the woods. Thanks for making this happen, @MrBarter!!! 🪶🪺🐦⬛
Secret Shadow Show & Tell happened in Room 115 this morning! Students asked really great, detailed questions before each item was revealed! 😎
We dodged the rain and got some fresh air on a hike, made zero waste bird treats, and learned about beekeeping from a local bee keeper! Such a lovely day at Bogan celebrating our wonderful planet! 🌎🌧️🐝🌿🪶
Spotted four red tailed hawks, identified turkey tail mushrooms, found raccoon tracks, observed moving water in the creek, and found many cardinal feathers—which led to a rich discussion about the food chain. These sweet kids are filled with so much WONDER.✨ #placebasedlearning

It was great clearing out invasive species from the natural area at @BoganSchool today with so many teachers #Talawanda #STEM

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the Oxford Community Foundation! A class set of boots means we get to explore and learn outside even when it’s snowy/rainy/muddy. We are absolutely thrilled and cannot wait for our first learning adventure in our new boots! 🥳
We’re learning that the calmer and quieter we are, the more opportunities we have to see and hear some pretty cool things. 🌀
