I saw the Watermelon Challenge going around, so I decided to send my (terrified) Meisho Doto into battle... I'm sorry my sweet Doto... Probably in few hours I'll send quickie too but I wanted you to see the other one first. #UmaMusume #ウマ娘 #3DAnimation #MeishoDoto

Month 1 complete! ( •̀ᴗ•́ )و Before anything else, thank you. To everyone who subscribed and followed me on YouTube, X, Instagram, and TikTok — your support over this first month has been incredible. Quick update: The next animation is currently going through its final polish in Unreal Engine. In the meantime, here are some Taiki Shuttle sketches I've been working on! I also want to make a personal commitment regarding the future of this channel and my projects. From now on, I'm committing to 0% generative AI content in my creative workflow. No AI-generated decals, chibi emotes, texture alphas for 3D props, or other graphical assets. If I need something, I'll draw it myself, model it, or commission another artist. That's the update! See you in a few days with the next animation! Everything below is a personal rant about art, programming, and the future of creative industries. If you're only here for the animations, feel free to stop reading. Otherwise, here's something that's been on my mind lately. The original goal of this channel wasn't just to make Umamusume memes. I started seriously learning animation about three months ago. I wanted to improve my skills, develop my own style, and hopefully build a small community before eventually introducing a solo indie game I've been developing for years. It's a project I work on almost every day. I write the code, sculpt and model my characters, compose music, create animations, and build the systems that make everything work. A few years ago, the flood of AI-generated art on ArtStation, Pixiv, DeviantArt, and other platforms completely destroyed my motivation to draw. I've never considered my own art particularly good. I knew it would probably take years of practice before I could reach a level I'd be genuinely satisfied with. Watching those platforms become saturated with generated images made the whole process feel increasingly pointless. So I stopped drawing for years. And it genuinely hurts to see other artists experiencing that same loss of motivation. People who dedicated years of their lives to learning anatomy, composition, lighting, perspective, and developing their own artistic identity. Animation has finally helped me rediscover some of that passion. But now, as someone who's been programming for years, I'm watching something similar happen to game development. The barrier to producing something that looks like a functional game has dropped dramatically. With recent AI breakthroughs, people can increasingly generate code, recreate existing mechanics, and produce impressive-looking crossover content with very little understanding of the systems behind it. Tony Hawk in Warcraft? Counter-Strike in Assassin's Creed? Umamusume in Forza Horizon? (yes, I know some of them are just model swaps.) Things that once demanded considerable technical knowledge can now sometimes be prototyped through a handful of prompts. And here's where my frustration begins. People proudly upload these creations with a big "Look what I made!", presenting themselves as developers while barely understanding the code or systems they're showcasing. We're in the honeymoon phase. People applaud these self-proclaimed "devs" for their creativity and technical achievements. But what exactly are we celebrating? I'm not against modding, experimenting, or using tools to learn. I'm talking about the growing tendency to confuse generating an output with actually understanding how to build it. If you cannot explain, maintain, debug, or meaningfully modify the code behind your own project without asking an AI to do everything for you, I have a hard time calling that software development. That's my opinion, and I know not everyone will agree. A developer can spend days or weeks implementing, debugging, and polishing a single feature. Not because writing code is some sacred ritual, but because understanding how systems interact takes knowledge, experience, and responsibility. And that work matters. Steam already receives an enormous number of new games and demos. For unknown indie developers, simply getting noticed is incredibly difficult. My concern is that increasingly capable generative tools will flood these platforms with even more low-effort projects, making it harder for genuinely passionate creators to stand out. Releasing an indie game as an unknown developer already feels like rolling a twenty-sided die. Now imagine trying to roll that same D20 with both hands chopped off. That's what I worry the future might look like. And before someone misunderstands me: I don't think technological progress should stop. I'm not pretending AI isn't impressive. But I genuinely believe there's something irreplaceable about learning a craft. Spending years making mistakes, figuring things out, improving, and eventually creating something that is truly yours. I don't want to lose that. I want to draw my own characters, animate them, write my own code, compose my own music, and someday release a game that represents everything I've learned along the way. Maybe that approach will put me at a disadvantage. Maybe it won't. But at least I'll know why I created it, how it works, and what went into making it. That's the kind of artist and developer I want to be. Thank you to everyone supporting independent artists and developers who still care deeply about their craft. See you in the next animation. #Umamusume #ウマ娘 #TaikiShuttle

Agnes Tachyon’s Cortisol Experiment 🧪 Apparently, your cortisol levels are a little too high. Featuring Agnes Tachyon & Manhattan Cafe. There’s also a vertical version with a slightly different perspective — Manhattan Cafe might be up to something there. 👀 #UmaMusume #ウマ娘 #3DAnimation #AgnesTachyon #ManhattanCafe
