Some of you guys refuse to give any nuance to some characters because how is "a woman who was forced into marriage wants her groom (who was about to cheat on her, mind you) wants him to stand up and let her have a decision for once" considered spoiled??
Stella fans have got to be biggest liars I've dealt with when it comes to doing mental gymnastics on defending this character and hating Stolas
This scene isn't "Stella talks about her brother being abusive and Stolas not caring"
It's about Stella being spoiled about meaningless changes to their forced wedding.
Like I don't know how y'all took this scene out of context to THIS degree

Y'know what
This makes his actions in the later movies make so much sense now
He's not acting like an overprotective dad for the sake of a trope, he's just traumatized over what happened to him

As a black person you always gotta fear that there'll be a single clip that sets off thousands of people across the world to justify their hate and dehumanization of us. White people could do the same thing but God forbid its some black kids without respect
