Today marks the beginning of the final week for my exhibition "Mapping an Uneven Path: Stories of Health and Disability at Verulamium" at the Verulamium Museum (@stalbansmuseums).
Do check it out before it's gone after next Sunday! It was an immense privilege to bring to life.
Today marks the opening of my new exhibition: "Mapping an Uneven Path: Stories of Health and Disability at Verulamium", which runs from the 15th November - 23rd February 2025 at the Verulamium Museum @stalbansmuseums.

A short thread to explain... 1/9

ALT A4 Poster for the exhibition "Mapping an Uneven Path: Stories of Health and Disability at Verulamium". In the foreground an illustration shows a Roman man walking along a jagged path with a bandaged leg and walking staff. In the background, several other illustrated figures - such as a mother and her child, and a doctor - exist behind a green mist. Some butterflies float around the image.

The sun is shining down on Oxford today 🌞
This bowl, decorated with a human-faced sun, dates back to the 12th-century and was created in Iran. It is made from fritware, has rounded flaring sides, and is decorated with brown lustre overglaze.
All the Pretty Horses was genuinely one of the best books I ever read. I still think often about evil being described as going ‘about on its own legs.’ The literary world has truly lost a legend today. bbc.com/news/entertainment-a…
