The real debate over PA education policy isn't:
“Do we spend enough?”
It’s:
“Why aren’t results improving when we already spend more?” 🎒
Pennsylvania has the resources to help its economy prosper. 💡
We should be tapping into our natural resources and workforce to create an environment where businesses and families can thrive.
Today, the Commonwealth Foundation’s Chief Policy Officer, @NathanBenefield, testified before the U.S. House Committee on Education and the Workforce in Bethlehem, PA.
His testimony focused on Pennsylvania’s education landscape and how exciting new programs, such as the federal scholarship tax credit, will bring life-changing options to our students.
Thank you to the Committee for having us. We’re honored to advocate for expanded educational opportunities for Pennsylvania families on the national stage!
Pennsylvania ranks 1st in Medicaid fraud convictions and 3rd in charges nationwide.
Annual audits, real-time data, and eligibility checks can help stop fraud BEFORE taxpayers lose money.
Pennsylvania can’t afford to lose more people and businesses.
Lower taxes, grow opportunity, and keep our economy competitive! 💼
🍂 Temperatures are dropping, and Pennsylvanians will soon be turning up the heat.
Families need affordable energy to keep their homes warm—not higher bills from Harrisburg.
Socialism promises a lot, but at what cost?
Free markets empower people to innovate, compete, and build a better future.
Economic freedom means individual freedom. 🗽
The Federal Scholarship Tax Credit could expand access to tutoring, special education services, and more—without spending state tax dollars.
@GovernorShapiro, opt in and give Pennsylvania families more opportunities! 📚
PA families shouldn’t have to keep paying more just to get by.
We need lower taxes and lower costs. 📉
The lesson from COVID isn’t “give government more power.”
It’s putting checks and balances in place so no governor can exercise power without limits. ⚖️
🛠️ Welfare should help people get back on their feet, not enable fraud or unsustainable spending.
Pennsylvania needs reforms that protect taxpayers and promote self-sufficiency.
Parents know their kids better than bureaucrats ever could.
They should have the freedom to choose the educational path that works best for their children.🎓
We can lower electric bills and make our energy more reliable by tapping into the energy resources we already have right here in Pennsylvania. ⚡️
Pennsylvania is losing one resident every 24 minutes. 📦
We need policies that make Pennsylvania more affordable and create opportunities to stay, work, and raise a family.
After everything Pennsylvanians experienced during COVID, expanding executive authority should get serious scrutiny—not a pass. ❌
New York is in. Pennsylvania should be next!
Governor Hochul has opted into the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit. Now it’s time for Pennsylvania families to get the same opportunity. ➡️
@GovernorShapiro, the next move is yours.
🚨 Pennsylvania leads the nation in Medicaid fraud convictions.
Catching fraud years later isn’t enough.
We need regular audits and real-time checks to stop waste before taxpayers foot the bill!
Less bureaucracy.
More opportunity.
Pennsylvania should make it easier—not harder—to start a business, create jobs, and grow.
Energy costs are rising.
📈 @GovernorShapiro and lawmakers need to make energy more affordable, reliable, and abundant.
