While 4 bridges cross over the Tampa Bay, the 4.1-mile-long Sunshine Skyway Bridge is the only one that spans three counties: Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Manatee. This vital link sees over 50,000 vehicles every day, serving as a major commuter route for the region.

Heads up! 🚨 A ramp closure is happening on Thursday, October 29, followed by a full weekend closure of Pine Ridge Road at the I-75 interchange (exit 107). Read more in the comments below.
Detour routes are posted. For southbound I-75 to eastbound Pine Ridge, use Immokalee Road (Exit 111) and Logan Blvd. For northbound I-75 to westbound Pine Ridge, use Golden Gate Parkway (Exit 105) and Livingston Rd.
📅Thursday, October 29 (8 p.m. - 6 a.m.): Full closure of the southbound I-75 off-ramp for overhead structures and signage installation.
📅Friday, October 30 (11 p.m.) to Sunday, November 1 (6 a.m.): Full closure of eastbound and westbound Pine Ridge Road under I-75.

Storm response doesn’t stop on the ground--our equipment also goes airborne!
Throughout Hurricane Isaias, FDOT deployed 30 drone teams to analyze damage and complete flood assessments. This allowed us to direct resources to areas hardest hit by the storm.
