No one makes real money on the elite few. Frankly, you need to look at it this way. The “elite few” are often the Guinea pigs willing to take a first try. They are the test models, and they are PAYING for it. The US health model will keep it “elite” for longer, and while I am far from being a socialist (proud capitalist here), for me the capitalist model should be deployed to make things available and cheaper for all. Our health care system is broken. I have access to the best of the best with a phone call— and even for me, it’s broken. Lawyers, intermediaries, screwed u administrative structures, no way to contact “real people”. To say it’s a crisis is laughably short of reality. I welcome our silicon overlords to the table for health care drugs and solutions, and I would love to see it systematize access and be the “concierge” we all wish we had.
