During the Weimar Republic, especially around the 1923 hyperinflation, foreign labor and immigrants entered parts of the German job market (particularly in agriculture and some urban sectors), adding competition at a time of high unemployment and wage pressure after demobilization and economic collapse. Communist groups tied to Bolshevik networks carried out uprisings, street fighting, shootouts, and other political violence that created near–civil-war conditions. Hyperinflation destroyed savings and forced many Germans to sell land, real estate, and businesses at steep discounts. Those holding foreign currency or hard assets, including foreign buyers and domestic speculators, bought them dirt cheap. The resulting hardship included food shortages severe enough that people resorted to eating horse meat, along with making people homeless and destitute. It’s so obvious most Americans have never read anything regarding history.

Disenfranchising the youth is how you get a communist revolution.

America, as a country, was built by those of the blue collar class, those who worked hard, worked with their hands, who struggled. It’s very apparent I’m not cult-minded, I’m not a conformist, and I’m an independent thinker. I don’t care if someone who is cult-minded and demands I write for their beliefs decides to unfollow me. Anyone who has actually studied communist revolutions, and especially the term KULAK in Ukraine, where millions were starved to death by Stalin, knows it included anyone who had more than 1 cow. And, these same alleged “anti-communist” MAGA folks are fomenting the same revolution by mocking those whose American Dream was stolen from them. Average rent for someone who was 17 at the time the pandemic started is now double, often triple. That means these younger generations who are now 23 are barely able to survive. Now, add in hyperinflation costs for groceries, gas, and everything else, and it’s disastrous. The covid pandemic was a massive heist which we may never recover from, and we are very close to Weimar conditions of having to use a wheelbarrow full of worthless dollars just to buy groceries. I’m so sick and tired of boomers mocking this hardship for our younger generations and gaslighting them. It’s demented behavior.
