Oh my God! 🤯🚀 The Room We Wanted just hit # 111 on Apple Podcasts US Leisure Charts! In all my years of podcasting, I've never seen anything like this! No idea how long it'll last, so if you're enjoying the show, a rating, review or share would mean the world! 🍎🙏🏼🤘🏼

In all my years of podcasting, I never thought I'd see a show I was a part of featured on Apple Podcasts' "New Shows" page. Having the trailer featured was already incredibly cool, but seeing TRWW there is something else entirely. Feeling so unbelievably grateful right now. 🙏🏼

The Temptations, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, guitar pedals & Diet Coke. For singer, songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Emily Wolfe, these childhood obsessions helped shape her musical DNA. Four choices. Four pieces of childhood. One room that tells Emily's story. 🎧

What was your goto vacation cereal? For Alex and Austin Ward of Hembree, Cinnamon Toast Crunch wasn't an everyday cereal... it was the kind of cereal you had to make a case for, maybe do a few extra chores for, and it was a vacation cereal. #Hembree #CinnamonToastCrunch

We all know the big hip-hop hits of the ’90s. But what about the songs that got plenty of love on NY/NJ radio without getting the recognition they deserved? This week, I’m revisiting 10 sometimes-forgotten tracks from an era when rap was my go-to. 🎧

🧵 This week, we recorded three new episodes of @TheRoomWeWanted. What started as an episode idea for MWM has quickly become something much bigger. A celebration of the things we have in common, the things that bring us joy, and the experiences that help shape who we become.

Alex Ward of Hembree's first Nine Inch Nails experience came from the opening credits of Se7en. Then came Weird Al & a deep dive to figure out what song he'd heard. Eventually, he found Broken... and the rest is history. Hear the rest of the story on The Room We Wanted. 🚪
