Ukraine is lucky to be surrounded by helpful neighbours who are willing to give shelters and supply arms, but us we’re living next to tyrannies.

Last year, I woke up to the devastating news: military staged a coup. I kept saying to myself, this can’t be true. Was naive back then. Never the same anymore. Now we have the chance to overturn the regime. Today is indeed one year anniversary of not the coup but the revolution!

(1/5) Celebrating Hun Sen's trip as a success (by some foreign ministries) is wrong. He didn't achieve anything substantive or make any progress with regards to @ASEAN's 5-point consensus. The only outcome from the trip was more legitimization of a failing murderous regime.

Burmese Military Uses Attack Helicopters to Bomb Karenni State:

War’s coming to big cities gradually. It’s heartbreaking to see families and friends fleeing Loikaw. Still not prepared mentally.

If you are the praying type, please pray for people in Lay Kay Kaw. Most there have already been displaced by conflict at least once. Now moving to hide again in the jungle with their families. Situation there is dire and getting worse. #WhatsHappeningInMyanmar

1/2 - An estimated 1,000+ have crossed the 🇹🇭/🇲🇲border due to TMD shelling & clashes in & around Lay Kay Kaw, splashing across the Moei River to reach safety in Thailand. 1,000s more remain displaced in the jungles on the Myanmar side, trying to avoid TMD artillery and gun fire.
Heard that now there are planes flying around #LayKayKaw . Feeling super anxious and worried. May God protect everyone (except SAC soldiers).

We made international headlines today. But news being news, they will move on to another story tomorrow. It's like we have to sacrifice people's lives for our voices to be heard.

Epitomising the prioritisation of "state security" over "public safety" once again, the #Myanmar junta bans the wearing of motorbike helmets in Mon State.
This is not a government.
