“I have decided to stick to love; hate is too great a burden to bear.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Dear Lord, our Loving Father, we thank You for the wondrous light of this new day. We humbly pray that Your light will guide us back to the right path when we stray off course, and that it will remove any and all dark thoughts that we might have this day. We pray that Your light will be reflected in our professional decisions and the many choices we will make throughout the day. Let Your light illuminate the words we say, keeping us from hurting others, but always praising You. Remind us today that Your kindness and mercy are never exhausted, but renewed every morning. Let Your love guide our actions and words today so that we can brighten another’s day, as You brighten ours. Holy Spirit, spark our faith, hope and love into new action each day, give us wisdom to make good choices, courage to stand up for what is right, and faith to trust in Your plan for our lives. Through Jesus Christ we pray, Amen 🙏✝️ John 8: 12 “Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”

Dear Lord, Father of love and mercy, as we conclude our day forgive us of any sins we might have committed. Help us be a little bit better tomorrow and a little bit better the next day. More loving, more generous and less judgmental on our fellow sisters and brothers. We are grateful to You for blessing us with eternal life and the promise of Your Holy Spirit. We are thankful that the same power, the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is now working in us to do Your good will and pleasure. Holy Spirit, in these difficult times, we thank You for being our comforter and helper and living in us forever. O’Lord drive away all forms of sickness, infirmities and disease, give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering and pity the afflicted, all for Your love’s sake. Through Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen 🙏✝️ Luke 11: 13 “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”

Dear Lord, Gracious Father, we thank You for preserving us through the night from all perils and dangers of body and soul, and for leading us safely to the beginning of this new day. Bless us with the grace to walk before You today in holy obedience. Empower our hearts to pour itself out before You with reverence, adulation, praise and endearment. May we listen to You as we desire that You would listen to us. May we read Your word with attention and live Your word with pleasure. Shape our soul into a mold, so we may hide it in our heart so that we may not sin against You. Help us to renew and confirm our dedication to You each morning, and evening through Jesus Christ, Your Son and our beloved Savior and from him receive new inspiration from Your blessed Holy Spirit, whose influence is the life of our soul. Amen 🙏✝️ Romans 12: 2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Dear Lord, our Gracious Father, Your great power is beyond our imagination and Your love is far beyond anything we may dream. May tonight be all that we need it to be. May the peace of God and the freshness of Your Holy Spirit rest in our thoughts, rule in our dreams and conquer all our fears. Father, You instructed the hearts of the faithful by the light of Your Holy Spirit, grant us the same Spirit to be truly wise, and forever rejoice in Your love and compassion. May God manifest himself in ways that we have never experienced. May our joys be fulfilled, our dreams become closer and our humble prayers be answered. Help us to find delight in the simple things that we always may rejoice in the abundance of Your blessings. May Your kindly Holy Spirit set us free from angry tempers, from ill will, harshness and hastiness. Help us so to live in the light of Your presence, that we may spread Your sunshine into cloudy places. Take our hands and work with them, take our lips and speak through them, take our minds and think with them, take our hearts and set them on fire with love for you and all Your people. From the rising of the sun to its setting, may we please You in thoughts, words and actions. Grant all this through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen 🙏✝️ Luke 6: 45 “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”

You are present in the whole universe and in the smallest of Your creatures. You embrace with Your tenderness all that exists. Pour out upon us the power of Your love, that we may protect life and beauty. Fill us with peace, that we may live as brothers and sisters, harming no one. Infuse our hearts with hope as our redeemer draws near. Give us grace that we may cast away any darkness, and put upon us the armour of light, now in this mortal life in which Your Son Jesus Christ came to visit us in great humility, that in the last day, when he shall come again in his glorious majesty to judge both the saved and the lost, we may rise to life immortal, through Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever, Amen 🙏✝️ John 3: 17 “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

We ask that You would guide our path today, and more specifically, our thoughts, words and actions. Please be with us throughout the day and help us navigate whatever comes our way. Most importantly, help us to reflect and live out our life in a way that honors You. Jesus told the Pharisees the two greatest commandments were to love You and my neighbor. Jesus give us Your grace and inspiration so that we may love others justly, not merely what we feel, but how we act toward them, by treating everyone with kindness, mercy and compassion. Help us to see the world through Your eyes, to understand the hearts of others, and to discern the path of love and righteousness. Through Jesus Christ, our Savior, we pray, Amen 🙏✝️ Matthew 22: 37-39 “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind; This is the first and great commandment; And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

Dear Lord, Heavenly Father, as the Apostle Paul wrote “as in You are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge”; help us to walk in wisdom toward others, making the best use of our time and resources. Guide us to know Your path, give us knowledge to know Your ways, lead us in Your truth and teach us for You are the God of our salvation. Father, thank You for making Your divine wisdom available through Your indwelling Holy Spirit. Awaken our hearts that we may sincerely receive Your word and fill our souls with devotion to Your service and strength, against all temptations. Pour Your Holy Spirit into our hearts, that with steadfast faith we may cling to Your Son Jesus Christ and find comfort in his passion, kindness, love and his death. We give You all our glory through Your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You, Amen 🙏✝️ Isaiah 11: 2 “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;”

Dear Lord, Compassionate Father, “Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds”(Psalm 36:5), we come before You on this beautiful blessed morning with grateful hearts. We thank You for your love and mercy that never fails us. We ask that You help us to see those around us in the same way that You do. Lord, shape our hearts to be like Yours and guide our hands by Your spirit that we may show generosity and kindness to all those in our lives, through Jesus Christ we pray, Amen 🙏✝️ 2 Corinthians 1: 3,4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

Dear Lord, Heavenly Father, as this day is drawing to its close we ask that Your continued love and presence be with us and with all that are Your children in Christ. Guard us through the long hours of darkness this night we pray, and keep us safe from all harm and dangers that may try to cross our threshold. Give us pray, an untroubled night of rest and quietness of heart. May we be refreshed and renewed in body, soul and spirit as we rest our weary hearts in You through the hours of the night. Help us to not get lost and turn our gaze from Jesus, Your Son. Grant us clear vision of Your truth and love in Jesus. May the evil lure of this passing world not distract us from our journey with You. Lord, we trust in You with all our heart and soul and pray that You lead and direct us in Your Holy path of righteousness. In Jesus name we pray, Amen 🙏✝️ 2 Corinthians 12: 9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

Dear Lord, our Eternal Father, through Your Son, Jesus, You have given us the gift of wisdom through the power of the cross as opposed to the wisdom of this world. Direct our steps this day into the way of peace and strengthen our hearts to obey Your word. May Your Holy Spirit bless us and give light to those who reside in darkness and the shadow of death, that they may adore You for Your mercy, follow You for Your truth, desire You for Your kindness, for You are the blessed Lord God of Earth, now and forever. Give us the strength and wisdom of Solomon, to lead Your people to a life filled with Your peace and Your love. Grant us wisdom when we face trials, give us patience so we may understand, give us kindness so we may share and give us faith so may live to serve You. In Jesus name we pray, Amen 🙏✝️ 2 Chronicles 1: 11 “And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king”

Dear Lord, Almighty Father, we pray that by Your great grace and mercy, You would grant us untroubled sleep so that we may rise up in the morning strong to do Your bidding. We give all the glory, honor and praise to You in all things. For You are joy, love, peace and kindness. You are the author and finisher of our faith, the creator of all things. Father guide us, lead us and direct us away from evil and sin. Let our words and works reflect only Your righteousness and Holy Spirit that others may see You through us. May those in need of healing find comfort and care in Your healing hands. Through our humility and prayer may You, our Almighty Father bring about a massive revival for the world to see that only You could create. In all this we give You all our love and glory, eternal Father, for the love and mercies of this day, in Jesus name we pray, Amen🙏✝️ John 3: 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
