Kylie Kelce opens up about how her daughters are reacting to their familyâs fame, and admits she wishes they could have a more normal childhood.
âThe girls think that itâs funny that when we go out in public, people say, âAre you Jason Kelce?â And then we go back to the house and they say, âAre you Jason Kelce?ââ
Theyâve even started pretending to be fans themselves.
âTheyâll start to go, âOh my gosh, Iâm such a huge fan. Can we take a picture?ââ
But Kylie admits the reality of their fame makes her sad.
âIt makes me sad that this is their reality. I want them to have as normal of an upbringing as possible.â
And sometimes the girls even get protective of their dad. Kylie recalls Wyatt staring down a group of women and saying:
âThey are not taking a picture with my dad.â
Kylie says the girls may find the attention funny, but she thinks they should be left out of it.
Dolly Parton says she once went through a period so dark, she understood why people turn to drugs and alcohol.
âYes, I went through a bad period of time back in the â80s when I was going through the change. I was having some female problems, family problems, emotional problems, and I was overweight. I didnât feel good about myself at all, so I got myself in a pretty bad bind.â
âI understood at that moment how people get on drugs, how people get on alcohol, and how people can commit suicide. I didnât do that because I kept praying, holding on to God, and hanging on to my friends.â
âNo business thing has ever been able to get me that depressed. It has to be something very personal, either family or something during that middle-age change of life, when your hormones and everything are different.â
âI did have a very hard time, but God, praying, friends, and just trying to hang on helped me. Being Dolly, just being me, I thought, âHey, either get off your fat ass and do something about it, or go ahead and blow your head off.â And I thought, âNah, I ainât gonna do that.ââ
âI believe God meant for me to go through that so I could completely feel for other people about everything.â
