The CFP Committee is confused why the MLB allowed two small-market teams in their Playoff. Would it not have been more profitable to cap it at one?
The World Series matchup is set!
Either the Brewers or Rays will win their first championship 🏆

ALT World Series 2026, Presented By Capital One Tampa Bay Rays vs. Milwaukee Brewers A spooky Halloween-themed graphic with the World Series trophy in front of an orange-hued moon with bats flying around in a dark night sky. The words "2026 Fall Classic" are also visible in the sky. On the left is a cityscape of St. Petersburg and on the right is a cityscape of Milwaukee. Text of both team name as well as "TB vs. MIL" are scattered around the graphic. Pictured: On the left side are cutouts of Junior Caminero, Yandy Díaz and Jonathan Aranda in road gray Rays uniforms and dark blue batting helmets. On the right side are William Contreras, Jackson Chourio and Jake Bauers in cream-colored Brewers uniforms and dark blue batting helmets.

Anthropic is a 5-year-old company. Every single other company on that photo is 15+ years old. The ones with the most revenue (Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow) are 27, 52 and 22 years old.
Anthropic generates more revenue than those multi-decades-old companies + no signs of slowdown

“we will pay any price….to assure the success and survival of liberty.” Is this still true? Do we prize liberty or do we prize power and purse? No more clear test than the choice between Ukraine and Russia. Abandon Ukraine and we abandon liberty. Eventually even our own.
I got my 2027 @USFFootball Season tickets!
They are lower than I wanted (honestly, I was disappointed by the available seats by the time my number was called... especially after the screwup with our seats this year), but hopefully they end up being good seats.

College sports bill faces tough path in House axios.com/2026/09/30/mike-jo…
This would make me SO happy.
Replying to @SonsOfNutmeg @BullishBullsFan
Would sorta work? The western schools are still a travel nightmare tho... is what it is I guess.

The Senate just passed the Protect College Sports Act 77-22. Here's what it actually does, in plain English 👇
🔄 Transfers: Players get ONE free transfer. After that, there's a penalty.
🎓 Eligibility: 5 years to play 5 seasons. The clock starts when you enroll or turn 19, whichever comes first. That means no 25-year-olds on the field.
💰 Paying players: The cap on what schools can share with athletes goes up to nearly $50M, with real enforcement behind it.
🤝 Agents: A national registry, and agents can't take more than 5%.
📺 TV money: Schools can pool their media rights and sell them together.
🏈 Realignment: If a power-conference school jumps to another power league, it has to play 3 years as an independent. That rule expires after 6 years. Conferences are capped at 20 teams, and no super-league buyouts.
⚖️ Employee status: The bill doesn't decide whether players are employees.
Next stop is the House. It probably won't happen before the Nov. 3 midterms.

Bulls Nation, general seating selection appointments for our new on-campus stadium have arrived starting today! For those that either have season tickets or have made a deposit, you should have received your appointment day & time in your email. Appointments run over the next four weeks!
🤘🏻Again, the order is based on lifetime giving.
🤘🏻There’s a home for every Bulls fan with tickets as low as $25 per game. In an effort to keep those tickets as low as possible for families, there’s no capital gift required on those tickets or the rooftop bar non-premium tickets.
🤘🏻If you’re not a current season ticket holder or have not placed a deposit yet, you can still log on to usfbullsstadium.com and place a deposit to secure an appointment after these initial appointments conclude (but prior to the next general public phase and if inventory still remains).
🤘🏻Pro Tip: Take some time if you can prior to your appointment to look at the options as others have appointments before & after your appointment, so being prepared to make a decision on which option is best for you will help you secure the perfect tickets for you and your guests. The options will likely go fast!
Thanks for your continued support of our collective new home! Go Bulls!!!🤘🏻😤📈

Anyone know where @USFFootball would fit on this chart?
We here on @TheAthletic college football team spent a lot of time over the last few weeks/months trying to find the roster payroll for every P4 team. The figures are inexact, but here's what we came up with and where we think your school ranks:

While we would LOVE to see you in the stands for all of our remaining six home games this season, including this Saturday night at 7pm, either option reserves your spot in the queue (order based off lifetime giving) for general seating selection at the end of this month.
If you already placed a premium deposit and/or already have season tickets, no need to do anything at this time! You will receive your selection day & time in the near future.
Go Bulls!!!!🤘🏻😤📈
