There comes a point when seeing what is wrong is no longer enough. When you begin to ask yourself what you can do, who you can do it with, and what kind of society you want to help build.
If you recognise the ills around us, believe in the power of collective action, and are ready to join hands with people who share that conviction, perhaps it is time to take the next step.

ACCOUNTABILITY IS NOT OPTIONAL.
The true strength of democracy is its unwavering commitment to the lives, rights and dignity of its citizens.
The events at the Lekki Toll Gate on 20 October 2020 raised profound questions about the use of force against citizens exercising their right to protest. We cannot allow these questions to be buried by political expediency, public indifference or the passage of time.
Justice requires truth. Trust requires accountability. National healing requires the courage to confront uncomfortable realities.
Six years later, we must continue to demand credible answers, transparent investigations and accountability in accordance with the law.
A government accountable to its people has nothing to fear from the truth.

20.10.2020 - A DATE ETCHED IN THE CONSCIENCE OF EVERY NIGERIAN
Some dates mark celebrations. Others mark turning points. And some become permanent reminders of questions a nation need to fully answer.
For many Nigerians, 20 October 2020 is one such date that the Nigerian Govt must answer the questions about unknown soldiers shooting at unarmed protesters.
The images from the Lekki Toll Gate remain a call to remember the young Nigerians who demanded change, the pain experienced by victims of shots fired, and the responsibility of a nation to seek truth and justice.
We must never allow remembrance to become routine or outrage to become indifference.
The future we desire requires more than slogans. It requires institutions that protect citizens, leaders who are accountable, and a society unwilling to accept injustice.
Six years later, the call for truth and accountability endures.

THEY WERE YOUNG. THEY HAD DREAMS
They wanted a better Nigeria. A country where the police protect rather than persecute, where citizens can speak without fear, and where the future holds more promise than despair.
The cries for justice at the Lekki Toll Gate on 20 October 2020 became a defining moment in our national conscience.
Behind the blood-stained images of victims lies the human story. Behind every unanswered question is a demand we must not dismiss, cries of pain we cannot forget.
We remember the courage of the #EndSARS protesters. We stand with all those still seeking truth and accountability.

A NATION CANNOT HEAL BY IGNORING ITS SCARS
Governments are judged not just by their promises but by their response to the people's demand for justice.
The tragic events at Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020, serve as a harrowing symbol of the price of civic courage and the urgent need to uphold the fundamental rights of every Nigerian
Commemoration is not an act of hostility. The demand for accountability is not a lack of patriotism. Seeking the truth does not endanger Nigeria.
How a nation confronts its past and atones for its missteps determines its future.
The National Association of Seadogs calls for justice, human dignity, and accountability.

THE QUESTION THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT MUST ANSWER: WHO GAVE THE ORDER?
Six years later, the questions remain. The memories linger. The demand for accountability persists.
On 20 October 2020, young Nigerians gathered at the Lekki Toll Gate to demand a country where justice, dignity and freedom are not privileges. That night became one of the most painful chapters in Nigeria’s democratic journey.
The Nigerian people deserve answers. The families of victims deserve justice. And History deserves the truth.
Silence cannot bury the questions. Time cannot erase the memories.
Who gave the order? Who will answer for what happened?
The demand for truth and accountability must never die.

DEPRESSION IN OLDER PEOPLE
“In older adults, depression can sometimes present with memory problems and difficulties with thinking that resemble dementia.”
This is why proper medical assessment matters. Do not automatically dismiss changes in memory or concentration as normal ageing, or assume they are dementia.
