Last year we enabled airlines to save 113,500 tonnes of CO2 emissions in UK airspace. The savings equate to £18.4 million of fuel for airlines. There has been a reduction of 8.4 million tonnes of aircraft CO2 emissions since 2006. Read more: bit.ly/315d2jJ

By 2020, NATS is targeting savings of 2.5m tonnes of ATM CO2. In 2016 we reached the half-way point. This balloon represents 1 tonne.
