Public space is a priority for us, and it’s clear this admin agrees. We spoke w @HellGateNY about the ballot props and what they could mean for advancing public space projects.
Because our kids shouldn’t graduate before safety improvements their parents fought for move forward.
If 2025's major ballot prop theme was Yay Increase Multifamily Buildings Yugely (YIMBY), 2026's might be Fix All Streets and other Stuff Today (FASST).

DOT unveiled plans for new traffic safety measures around McGolrick Park and P.S. 110, including traffic diverters, new crosswalks, protected bike lanes, and other changes aimed at reducing cut-through traffic. Work is expected to begin this fall. greenpointers.com/2026/09/15…
