Today, visited the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) office at Janpath, New Delhi.
In line with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji’s call for cleanliness under the Swachh Bharat Mission, emphasised the importance of maintaining a clean, hygienic, and well-organised workplace to foster efficiency and a healthy working environment.
NCPCR has created the POCSO Tracking Portal to provide instant and effective support to pocso victims in terms of providing help from the District Child Protection Officer, Child Welfare Committee and State Child Protection System. Now, Legal Service Authorities have also been onboarded who will provide free legal aid as well as the compensation.
Taking serious note of the recent fire accident at the Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Adilabad, Telangana, which led to the tragic death of three newborn infants, NCPCR has taken suo motu cognizance of the incident. A Team is being sent to conduct an on-ground inquiry in the matter.

NCPCR takes suo motu cognizance of media reports regarding the alleged sexual abuse of minor girls aged 12–16 years by Granite businessman R Veeramani in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. A Fact-Finding Team will visit Chennai to conduct an on-ground inquiry.

NCPCR, with the assistance of local police and an NGO, rescues 10 minors girls from Chapra ,Bihar. So far NCPCR has rescued over 4000 children in its special campaigns.

Today marks the beginning of the 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐚𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, strengthening our collective resolve towards a Swasth, Suposhit and Saksham Bharat.
I look forward to launching this nationwide campaign today at the Rudraksh Convention Centre, Varanasi, in the august presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri @myogiadityanath Ji.
With the spirit of “𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐝𝐢, 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐉𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢,” this Poshan Maah calls upon families, communities and citizens to become active partners in the nutrition journey of every mother and child.

सुपोषित बचपन, स्वस्थ मातृत्व और समृद्ध परिवार ही विकसित भारत के मजबूत भविष्य की नींव हैं।
आज से 9वाँ राष्ट्रीय पोषण माह प्रारंभ हो रहा है। इस वर्ष का संकल्प है - “हमारी आंगनवाड़ी, हमारी ज़िम्मेदारी”।
विविधतापूर्ण एवं प्रोटीनयुक्त आहार, आंगनवाड़ी केंद्रों पर ताजा और पौष्टिक भोजन, बच्चों के लिए प्रारंभिक बाल्यावस्था देखभाल एवं शिक्षा तथा गर्भवती और धात्री माताओं की समग्र देखभाल के माध्यम से पोषण को जन-जन का अभियान बनाने का प्रयास है।
