Happy Mar10 Day! Do you prefer the look of composite video from the NES on my Trinitron or through the RetroTINK 4K?

Last Sunday in church we read Ezekiel 58, in which the prophet describes how God’s people are to treat the Sabbath. It made me think that I should stop treating Sunday after church as “Saturday 2.0”. Instead of yard work, video games, and scrolling eBay, I studied the book of Hebrews and pondered theological issues. No regrets. Highly recommended!

Oops, it was Isaiah 58, not Ezekiel. Wrong prophet!

One of my students stopped by my office today wearing a Hylian shield necklace. We’re both very excited about the OOT remake. She also informed me that there will be a midnight release at the Best Buy. Should I go? 🤔

I just won an auction for a fairly rare unlicensed NES cartridge. I love those weird things! 😆 Who wants to guess which game it is? Hint: It’s not a Tengen cart.

Did you miss out on the glory days of #C64 or #Atari computer gaming? Well if you still have a #NES then I recommend these two classics.

Probably the most noteworthy official demake of a game.

Fellow Christians: How do you reconcile evolutionary science with Adam & Eve? A. Young Earth: Literal 6-day creation ~6k years ago; no human evolution B. Old Earth: Ancient Earth; God specially created Adam & Eve as first humans C. Theistic evolution: God used evolution; Adam & Eve were real historical people (first image-bearers or representatives) D. Symbolic: Adam & Eve are not historical individuals; the story teaches theological truths about humanity and sin
