It may be tempting to launch a rock off a vista but you never know what or who may be below. We could use signs like this locally at Chestnut Ridge, Niagara Gorge, Letchworth and Zoar Valley #hiking #safety #SAR

One of our K9s tried their work vest on for the first time four years ago today. Now he is fully credentialed and a great asset to our team. #SearchAndRescue #K9 #cutenessOVERLOAD #puppies

It’s a beautiful morning.
Wise words.

Just putting it out there, if someone you love goes missing, please don't organize a "search party." You are just destroying potential evidence and you are going to get one of your volunteers hurt or killed. Leave it up to the local agency in charge and trained #SAR personnel.

That's no selfie stick. #DYK every spring, park rangers spend a couple days repainting the most visible Grand Canyon peaks and "grand washing" the cliffs. #GrandCanyon #Arizona #AprilFoolsDay #ThursdayThoughts

Try it and see. Just make sure you’re prepared for the conditions, appropriately dressed, and leave no trace behind! #getoutside
