Extended power interruption affecting Tandag City and parts of Surigao del Sur, 08 November 2026, Sunday, at 12:00 NN. Affected EC: SURSECO 2 Cagwait and Tandag Substations Reason: A tall tree was uprooted and toppled against Structure No. 397, causing the wooden pole to break. The incident, which occurred in the mountainous area of Tagbalidbid, Cagwait, Surigao del Sur, resulted in the tripping of the San Francisco–Tago–Tandag 69kV Line at 7:49 PM on Saturday, 07 November 2026. Estimated restoration time is approximately 4:00 PM.

Affected EC: SURSECO 2 Cagwait and Tandag Substations Reason: A broken wood pole was found at Structure No. 397 in a mountainous area of Tagbalidbid, Cagwait, Surigao del Sur, causing an outage of the San Francisco-Tago-Tandag 69kV Line at 7:49 PM on Saturday, 07 November 2026.
