Comcast Scam.
Comcast is cutting 994 jobs, 634 at its Philadelphia headquarters, while it rolls out AI agents for customers.
From January to June, 483 H-1B filings were for Comcast jobs. 235 came from contractors like Infosys and Tata Elxsi. 133 of those were in Philadelphia.

From the outside, it looks like both parties in Congress are controlled by the same donors (Big Pharma, AIPAC, MIC, Big Tech, etc)
They won't address real problems (like over-spending) because their donors benefit from those problems.

Every Indian that had a PERM open at Cloudera will now have their PERM applications canceled. If a green card is their true goal, they will have to find another employer as Cloudera took a settlement that bars them from filing any PERM paperwork for two years.
The company was found to be an Indian-hiring cartel, as many companies are these days.

My son is a network admin changing locations, backfilling his old position which they posted. Looking for an onsite CS grad.
Can you guess what happened?
Result > 900 resumes from India. They found their American applicant to fill the role, but a bunch of talented American IT dudes that they are...decided to run them through HR and AI software found nearly all of them were fake. Credentials didn't match colleges, colleges didn't offer degrees, 2 yr master's with no undergrad, etc.
Meanwhile, we have Americans who must provide transcripts and background information repeatedly passed over for positions where H1B are hiring other H1-B.
It's an illusion. It's largely all corruption. It's a chip on a poker table for our politicians to trade for international agreements.

🚨 UNIVERSITY OF MAINE PLANS LAYOFFS WHILE SPONSORING H-1B WORKERS.
$19 MILLION budget shortfall.
Faculty and staff positions on the chopping block.
Meanwhile, new reporting identifies 19 H-1B labor applications and 13 petition approvals across the university system in FY2026.
Here’s a simple question:
Before taxpayer-funded universities eliminate American jobs, shouldn’t they disclose exactly how many foreign workers they’re sponsoring and whether those positions are protected from cuts?

$MSFT offered buyouts to 60,000 employees. It expects fewer than 3,000 to take them.
That's a 3% to 5% uptake, per a Microsoft spokesperson. CFO Amy Hood told staff she expects "very few people" to accept.
Compare that with the spring voluntary retirement program: about 8,700 eligible US staff, and roughly 30% reportedly said yes.
The deadline to decide is early December. Anyone who takes it leaves Dec 31.
Watch how many actually walk.
$MSFT: I've been asked what Level 70 and below means in Microsoft's voluntary exit announcement.
From my understanding, Microsoft uses an internal leveling system to classify employees by seniority, responsibility, and compensation.
Roughly speaking:
Levels 59–62: Engineers, analysts, and professional roles
Levels 63–64: Senior engineers and managers
Levels 65–67: Principal engineers and senior management
Levels 68–70: Partner-level technical leaders, directors, and senior directors
Titles can vary by organization, but you get the picture.
So it is easy to see here that this is not simply about trimming junior employees or eliminating jobs AI can perform..... we're potentially talking about some very experienced, highly compensated technical and management talent.
And with Microsoft's AI infrastructure spending showing no signs of slowing, I find that particularly interesting. What I want to see is which functions lose people, which positions Microsoft chooses not to replace, and where hiring continues.

STOP taking unnecessary risks with our health by hiring foreigners in our healthcare system. With a chance of fraudulent experience and certifications, we cannot take the chance.
