This #CausalIntroCourse is BRILLIANT! Highly recommend to ALL interested in causal inference. Thank you to the A team (listed below) & @JLRohmann for sharing your expertise, wisdom & energy this week. Feeling enthusiastic, enlightened & humbled (not in equal measure 😉).
We will be running another #CausalIntroCourse in Leeds, UK, on 15-19 Jan 2024! We are currently inviting people on our waiting list to register. If you want to join our list, & be informed if a place opens up, you can join at causal.training/ #EpiTwitter #CausalTwitter

How much of a boost do “booster” COVID-19 jabs give? In our study, we measured antibodies after multiple doses. While individual response to vaccination varies, the average antibody response to boosters was large, even for those in vulnerable groups. 1/9 elifesciences.org/articles/8…

I did catch this @CO90s! Really great to hear people's thoughts in Bristol on the new research. Although sadly not on iPlayer anymore, you can still read the write-up here 👇👇👇 bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-br…
Did you catch @CO90s Principal Investigator @nic_timpson speaking with @FionaLamdin on BBC Points West last night? Find out more about recent research with @COVID19_LHW looking into the impact of the “booster” vaccine 🎞️Watch from 04:09 bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m0…

Many people have responded to the #ExtinctionRebellion protests in London by saying "but what about China". So I made this new animation showing cumulative CO2 emissions since 1750. As of 2019, the UK remains the world's fifth largest contributor to warming CO2. Yep.
Animation: The countries with the largest cumulative CO2 emissions since 1750 Ranking as of the start of 2019: 1) US – 397GtCO2 2) CN – 214Gt 3) fmr USSR – 180 4) DE – 90 5) UK – 77 6) JP – 58 7) IN – 51 8) FR – 37 9) CA – 32 10) PL – 27
