During my meeting with King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, I spoke about the lives of our people under constant Russian attacks and our diplomatic efforts with partners to achieve peace.
I thank His Majesty for his support and for the meeting. The Netherlands is one of Ukraine’s closest and most reliable partners. We value all the assistance provided. It is important that we can be confident that support for our people will continue.

A horrific Russian strike on the railway station in Dnipro. The Russians launched a drone attack on a platform where an ordinary commuter train and a scheduled passenger train were standing. Unfortunately, 13 people have been confirmed killed as of now. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Ten more people were injured. All necessary emergency services are working at the scene.
Just how many terrorist strikes has Russia carried out against our people since sanctions were lifted on certain Russian oligarchs and the Russian energy sector, rather than de-escalating? This is precisely why Ukraine has always said that just and decisive action by America and Europe is needed in response to Russian escalation – sanctions against Moscow and its war machine must not be eased for as long as this Russian war continues. It is time for new, stronger sanctions steps by the EU, the United States, and the G7. I thank everyone who is ready to help in this way.

Ukraine’s recovery requires close cooperation between international partners and the private sector. Discussed with @MykolaKalashnyk Ukraine’s urgent needs and how the Netherlands can contribute, including by engaging more Dutch businesses in reconstruction.

Pleased to sign an agreement today with Minister Kravchenko to rebuild industry and critical infrastructure and create better opportunities for Dutch and Ukrainian companies. An important step in our cooperation and in supporting Ukraine’s recovery.

Met with Sjoerd Sjoerdsma, @ministerBHOS, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Thanked the Dutch Government for the €1.2 billion non-military aid package for 2027–2029 announced today: practical support for energy, water supply, the private sector and reconstruction. It is a significant contribution on top of the Netherlands' military support for Ukraine.
A key priority is protecting critical infrastructure: backup equipment and spare parts for rapid recovery after russian attacks, and physical and civil protection of energy facilities. We are receiving substantial help from both the Government and private energy companies.
Talked over business cooperation. We are interested in investment from Dutch companies and their expertise in agriculture, IT and energy equipment. For our part, we stand ready to share our experience in rapid rebuilding and protecting critical infrastructure.
Briefed the 🇳🇱 minister on the war risk insurance mechanism developed by the Government, which businesses need in order to operate and invest in Ukraine.
Today, Ukraine's Minister of Economy and Environment will sign a declaration of intent with his Dutch counterpart on deepening economic cooperation, supporting Ukraine's industrial resilience and developing the "Industrial Ramstein". We also discussed what the aid will include, in particular practical support for the private sector.
The 🇳🇱 minister praised the Government's and the Verkhovna Rada's work on delivering EU integration priorities. Thanked the Netherlands for supporting our European path.

Prime Minister Rob Jetten @MinPres and I met with the heads of Ukrainian and Dutch companies in the defense, energy, and software sectors. Our teams also joined us online from Kyiv, where Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade Sjoerd Sjoerdsma is visiting today.
We defined key priorities and decisions that can strengthen our practical economic cooperation: defense production, joint technology and energy projects, industrial development, and, very importantly, satellite technologies and air defense.
Our teams have been tasked with working out a specific air defense project, Bliksem. We have already started this work. We are taking our cooperation to a level where it is clear that standing alongside Ukraine also means achieving additional positive industrial, technological, and social results. Thank you for your support!

A good meeting with Prime Minister Rob Jetten @MinPres of the Netherlands. Thank you for the new military support package for Ukraine worth €500 million, which is being prepared right now – this fall. This is truly significant, especially when it comes to repelling Russian air attacks.
I also thank you for the announced €1.2 billion package of non-lethal support for Ukraine. It strengthens our resilience, and the funds will go toward energy support, infrastructure recovery, the social sector, and health care.
Rob and I discussed the situation in the diplomatic process in great detail. A lot is happening right now. In the context of preparations for the trilateral meeting planned in Abu Dhabi, we discussed what we can do together with our European partners to ensure that the position of all of us in Europe is really taken into account.
We are also working to see all political agreements followed by tangible economic results, creating economic growth and jobs in both Ukraine and the Netherlands. Thank you, Rob!

Today, I expressed my solidarity with Romanian president @NicusorDanRO and Bulgarian prime minister @RumenRadevPM, after the recent and recurring attacks on commercial ships in the Black Sea. The Netherlands stands firmly with Romania and Bulgaria and other affected nations and stands ready to help and will continue to support Ukraine.
