Zelensky says Russia used three ballistic missiles with cluster warheads against Kyiv overnight. One struck Pechersk, in the historic center, between the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and St. Vvedensky Monastery. Monastery buildings, homes, shops, cafes and other civilian infrastructure were damaged. He says the warheads detonate in the air while approaching the target and affect everything within a roughly 400-meter diameter. Zelensky said no military target was even theoretically nearby and called the choice of weapon and location deliberate. He added that since October 11, more than 170 strikes have hit important Ukrainian energy facilities.

Zelensky says Trump should direct the same rhetoric he uses against him toward Putin. He noted that Congress backed tougher sanctions against Russia and asked why Trump has not imposed them, suggesting that Trump and Putin may still have a "special relationship." Zelensky also said Ukraine asked the United States for air-defense missiles to protect its energy sector, not for free, with Europe ready to finance them. He said Washington told Kyiv it could not provide the missiles because available stocks had been sent to the Middle East.

Zelensky says Russia controls about 18 to 19% of Ukraine's territory and warned that civilians, including children, remain trapped in occupied Oleshky without food or a way to evacuate. He also said he did not expect the full-scale invasion and argued Biden made a mistake by not imposing sanctions beforehand. Responding to Trump, Zelensky said Russia lost hundreds of armored vehicles around Kyiv and Hostomel and rejected the idea that the failed offensive came down to one general. #Ukraine

The financing will be provided through Denmark's Export and Investment Fund because the war prevents the company from borrowing on normal terms. Copenhagen says locating Ukrainian defense production abroad will better protect it from Russian attacks and strengthen cooperation between Ukrainian and Danish defense industries. #Ukraine
