Every crest has a story. Ours is forged by our city’s history, fuelled by our ambition, and drives us into our future.
We are proud to introduce the new club crest chosen by our supporters to represent Newcastle United.
The new crest will be used from today and will be put in place progressively across physical signage and digital and broadcast platforms over the coming months. It will be in place on our kits for the 2027/28 season.
Matthias Jaissle on Crystal Palace:
"They have had a heavy defeat and then drew yesterday; they will want a reaction. We can only focus on ourselves, what we can control. We are fully focused on Crystal Palace, to deliver the match plan."
Matthias Jaissle on a full week of training:
"It was a week where we have been fully committed, but now it is time to focus on the next match. To show a performance to get a great result. It is the time to make it count on a matchday."
Matthias Jaissle on Anthony Elanga and Jacob Ramsey's progress:
"Anthony has trained this week and worked really hard. He won’t be able to play 90 minutes, but he is hopefully able to join the squad.
I am happy Jacob is back on the pitch. We need to take it step-by-step with him, we don't want to take too many risks. I am pleased that slowly we are getting the players back.”
