This is what packing more sandboxes per host while maintain low latency looks like. Thank you to the @modal team for sharing their benchmarks. More NVIDIA Vera CPU surprises coming!
We got our hands on @nvidia's new Vera CPU and put it to the test. We built a benchmark using real-world agentic workloads to see how it performs under contention. In early tests, Vera delivered up to 2x the throughput of comparable x86 hardware, maintaining low latency even as hundreds of concurrent workloads competed for resources. For Modal Sandboxes, that could mean running more agents in parallel without sacrificing latency.

Check out this inside look at Prometheus, the NVIDIA-powered supercluster training @AIatMeta's Muse family. At this scale, installing GPUs is just the start. Through co-engineering, we turn infrastructure into productive training time, cutting interruptions by 99% and helping Meta bring frontier models, including Muse Wonder, to market faster.
We trained our Muse foundational models, including Muse Wonder, at Prometheus, our gigawatt-scale supercluster in New Albany, Ohio. Across a supercluster with hundreds of thousands of GPUs, even one underperforming host can slow an entire training run. We engineered Prometheus for resilience at scale, achieving 85%+ goodput on pretraining, 90%+ on reinforcement learning and ~47K GPU hours mean time between interruptions during Muse Wonder training. Take a look at the tech powering Prometheus: go.meta.me/4yXXApZ
