A dust storm warning is in effect until 4:30 PM PDT for US-195 near Plaza, WA and US-195 near Rosalia, WA and US-195 near Steptoe, WA and US-195 near Thornton, WA. – at Washington, USA

This warning is for Northeastern Whitman County in eastern Washington, Southeastern Lincoln County in eastern Washington and Southwestern Spokane County in northeastern Washington. Near zero visibility in blowing dust expected. These conditions are resulting in Dangerous life threatening travel. There are 3,492 people in this warning along with highway US-195.

3 PM Situational Update: There have been many reports of visibilities from zero to a half-mile visibility on I-90 and US-195 between Ritzville and Idaho. Please keep sending us your reports as you see. Include what time, where, and how bad the visibility is (ex. 1/4 mile).

I-84 is closed between Exit 216, 7 mi. E of #Pendleton, & Exit 265, 4 mi. E of #LaGrande, due to low visibility caused by blowing/drifting snow. Multiple vehicles spun out at MP 246-247 WB. Crews/tow on site. Expect a several hour closure. TripCheck.com for updates.

US 97 Blewett Pass is closed due to fallen trees, poor visibility, high winds and heavy snow. Crews will reassess pass conditions in the late afternoon. There is no estimated time for reopening.
