Urunani concluded their group D campaign with an 81-79 victory over Namuwongo Blazers on Sunday at Hoima City Arena, finishing with a strong performance against the Ugandan side. “It’s a good feeling. We came here from the first game and faced tough games against Patriots and Namuwongo. The games were very physical, but our boys matched the physicality and put up a great show,” he said. Despite the positive showing in Hoima, Hakizimana acknowledged that his team still has areas to improve before the next stage of the competition. “The local players did a great job, but I am sure we shall be ready going into the Elite 16 tournament,” he said. #KawowoUpdates | @EdwinKyleKule kawowo.com/2026/10/26/urunan…
