This was our 1st party held in 1986 at The Derngate Northampton, when all but one of the babies helped to date, and their parents came from all over, as far as Wales and Cornwall to celebrate with us. The cake - shaped like a apnoea alarm held a candle for every child helped.
As we celebrate 40 years of the founding of NARA this year, we are trying to find some of those originally helped in our early years. Do you recognise anyone in this photo - if so, please contact us via our website naratbc.org.uk - it would be great to hear from you.
NARA - The Breathing Charity is 40 years old. This pic are the two founding babies showing how to use their apnoea alarms way back in 1984. We will add pic’s, stories and clips about our work as often as we can.
Jon will be rowing 50Km (31 mls) He estimates it will be 5 hrs of solid rowing.
