AS A MAN, MARRIED OR NOT, PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ THIS. I saw a recent video where a lady was supposedly mourning the demise of her brother, while also calling on men to speak up and ask for help. In the short video, she mentioned how her late brother coped with a very small paycheck to shoulder so much respo sobilities, including that of exte ded family members. She also went as far as putting blame on herself which is not strange, since the brother is now deceased. Dear men, not everyone should know your struggles, IT IS A SETUP against your mental health and dignity, DO NOT FALL for it! Let me break it down in a much simpler way. The probability of a man getting help unsolicited to a woman remains 0 : 10, while solicited with same metrics is 1 : 10. Help hardly comes a man's way without a corresponding price, which in most cases could be too costly, hence most men hide in their hurting shells. Even in marriages, a man could be going through the worst emotional and physical abuse from his partner, and both members of his family and hers will still label him the aggressor. A man is never heard, but judged! As against a woman who just need to shed some tears to garner support, men on the other hand could be telling the truth and the world won't even flinch. I wish every man out there strength, but learn to step back when the burden becomes harder, learn to say no, learn to move at your own pace, learn to understand that you're your own support system. In all, be a kind human.
