I've led a cross-party letter from the APPG for ADHD on @Channel4's "The Great ADHD Myth?"
As someone with ADHD & dyslexia, this matters to me. ADHD is a recognised neurodevelopmental disorder — Channel 4 must get the evidence right.

One of England's all-time greatest captains, Ben Stokes, has decided to retire from international cricket at the end of this Test match.
Ben, you have been the most inspirational captain, leader and legend this team could have ever hoped for.
We love you so much and wish you all the best in your retirement ❤️
England will never be the same again.

The Richard Askew Cup takes place this Sunday 11th August. This is always a special day at DDCC in memory of a fantastic person & this year are looking to raise as much money as possible for @openingupcricket with our mega raffle draw!
What % of people who tweet to say they've muted the commentary because (insert pundit here) is on actually mute the TV and watch the match with no sound?
I'm going for 0.1%.
Abandoned Derbyshire is currently just £10.87 on Amazon.
Not sure how long that offer will last but if you're interested in Derbyshire's history, heritage and old buildings, why not give it a read.
It can even be with you ready for the weekend!

What's so depressing about this isn't the post - everyone knows what he's doing and why he's doing it.
It's the 1,500+ people who are liking a post which tells a woman to "get the kettle on".
Presumably a good % of these people have daughters and mothers themselves.
Grim.
Why not take out a subscription for a loved one so they can enjoy our fabulous county vicariously through the pages of Derbyshire Life - just as thousands have for generations.
You'll even receive a £10 John Lewis gift card for yourself!

Never thought I would say this but I've watched most of the games at the Rugby World Cup and actually really enjoyed it.
No idea about most of the rules but it's been fun to watch.
Even switched over from the cricket when it was obvious we were going to lose to Afghanistan!
Having had my eyes opened to NA options in Ireland it's annoying it's such a token gesture in the UK.
Place I'm on holiday has 16 drinks on draft. Could they not make one a NA option?
Plenty of people want to enjoy a pint without the alcohol.
The ones I had in Kilkenny were 👌
I'll be on @BBCDerby tomorrow where I'll be chatting with Ian Skye about my life/career as part of his 'Lunch With' series.
I'll be on just after midday and you can listen through your radio or online via BBC Sounds.
Looking forward to it!
